"Metapsíquico Universe" is a selection of recent paintings Luciano Giusti, together with some previous works that attempt to provide a context for the sample. After "headless" (2008), and "The Last Miracle" (2009), a few steps in what he calls metapsíquico universe is perhaps the logical consequence for this artist in the city of Buenos Aires.
The metapsíquica (Greek goal beyond and psyche mind) is the study of those phenomena that transcend the boundaries of consciousness, and which has not yet given a satisfactory explanation. Metapsíquico The universe would become a parallel universe that sometimes manifests itself in a form called paranormal, generally only accessible mediums, mystics and spiritualists.
Luciano Giusti imagine a universe where everything is mixed, the conscious with the unconscious, dreams to waking, past and distant future, chaos and order, to represent a "place" that is beyond, but which also somehow coexist. Abstraction, geometry and return to figuration in his paintings intertwine to create imaginary landscapes of infinite horizons, disturbing characters, cities defined by the line, distant stars, molecules and atoms chaotic lively. Giusti
opens a door with his paintings, is on the viewer to enter or not, but the Universe Metapsíquico is there, because it always was, simultaneous and mysterious.
